The Monto Production

The newly established Monto Performing Arts Group were the first community theatre group to perform 'Silk Rags The Musical'.  Therefore, it became the World Premiere!

With an audience of 200, this production raised $2,500 for Australian Cancer Research Foundation and really did start conversations within the community. It also attracted national TV and radio.  Monto Performing Arts are now considering touring the musical within the Burnett Shire area of Queensland, Australia!
